Medical students encounter various teaching aids and methods during their training. We are combining virtual reality with the real-time simulation of internal emergencies.The project is called STEP.VR, or "Simulation-based Training of Medical Emergencies for Physicians using Virtual Reality". Students and young doctors acquire essential practical knowledge in the emergency room of an amazingly lifelike hospital environment.
